Ref4UU aims to bring together news, knowledge, experiences, questions and answers of all those in the Utrecht University community using Refworks or other software and sites to manage references. Although better use of Refworks is the primary goal, discussion on CiteUlike, Connotea, Endnote, BibTex, Mendeley, Reference Manager, Zotero and others is also welcome.

When using Refworks WNC with Word 2007/2010 it seems as though something goes wrong with the template refworks.dot as Word cannot open it. Is there any remedy at this point or will this mean having to wait until a new WNC version?
Many thanks!
Dear Thomas,
WNC should run smoothly with Word 2007. I do not know of any issues with Word 2010. If, after a clean reinstall the problem persists, please get into contact with RefWorks at support@refworks-cos.com
Hi! I have just installed Write-n-cite in my laptop (Windows 7 and Word 2007) and I can't find the Write-n-cite button in any of Word's toolbars. Is there any way to fix that? Thank you!!
Ref works writeNcite really doesn't work smoothly. I had reinstall it each time I switched my laptop off. and now it doesn't even install correctly any more :(
Whatever I do, when installing WNC III in Word 2007 (with Windows 7), a button for WNC in Word does not appear. However, I think it is very handy, so I'd like to figure out why it does not appear...
Can you help me with this problem?
Thank you in advance!
This application sounds very interesting, I would like to know more about it, I got Windows 7 on my PC and is an excellent software.
I can't seem to get Write-n-Cite to open in Windows 2007 with Office 2010. Is WNC really ok with the latest Windows/Word?
Hi Elizabeth,
are you able to start Write-n-Cite from you Windows start button?
According to RefWorks, it should be compatible with Word/Office 2010: http://www.refworks.com/refworks2/help/Using_Write-N-Cite_for_Windows_III.htm
